Great take on the classic ABC book。 I enjoyed the raised lettering and the bold colors。 So did my daughter。。。 plenty of drool marks already!

Esmé and I and even Geoff love this book。 I knew we would like it even before I bought it。 I need more sensory books, but this one is so gorgeous I can't imagine any that are better--the art is just fun to look at。 There's not much "reading"--one letter and one word per letter--but the book is more like an object to be experienced than to be read, and Esmé enjoys the experience very much。 The first time we read it, she went back to the beginning and flipped through half the pages again! That's a great review from an 8 month old。 The back of the books says it's for ages 2-4, so it's fairly young for her I suppose, but I will be sure to supervise her when she reads it in case that suggestion has anything to do with safety。 。。。more

In this unique book, raised die cut letters fit into cutouts on the opposite pages。 It adds a sensory element to the alphabet book that your littlest readers will enjoy。

Very clever alphabet book。 I really like that the letters are raised and tactile, as literacy is so much more than just visual。 Illustrations are very fun as well。

TouchThinkLearn: ABC。。。 a gorgeous well-styled alphabet book enjoyed by children and graphic designers alike。 The colorful illustrations and laser cut letters provide an elegant solution to teaching the alphabet。 Each letter and corresponding picture is embossed and debossed with thick paperboard, and many of the images feel interactive。 The book is surprisingly not too heavy。

This book is absolutely gorgeous。 I don't know how this author manages to be so creative and precise, but my kid loves this book almost as much as I like to read it with him。 This book is absolutely gorgeous。 I don't know how this author manages to be so creative and precise, but my kid loves this book almost as much as I like to read it with him。 。。。more

A book that is as creative as it is educational。 This book is a touch and feel book, which lets the children see, feel, and capture the letters of the alphabet。 This is a wonderful hands on book that allows for children to access the alphabet in a completely different way。 I love that this book is full of pop textures, and raises and sunken in letters。 This can help children who learn more hands on a wonderful chance to learn the alphabet their own way。 This is a must have book for an early chil A book that is as creative as it is educational。 This book is a touch and feel book, which lets the children see, feel, and capture the letters of the alphabet。 This is a wonderful hands on book that allows for children to access the alphabet in a completely different way。 I love that this book is full of pop textures, and raises and sunken in letters。 This can help children who learn more hands on a wonderful chance to learn the alphabet their own way。 This is a must have book for an early childhood classroom。Learning alphabet, class library, student personal library 。。。more

Although I might not necessarily use this book to teach the ABCs, I would use it to support the teaching of the alphabet since tactile learners could touch the letters that fill its pages。 But since some of the cut-outs are in reverse order--"D," for instance, as it pops out of its original spot--some early readers would become confused and need guidance。 I love the creativity of display since the sturdy, cleverly-designed pages also feature animals and objects that start with a particular lette Although I might not necessarily use this book to teach the ABCs, I would use it to support the teaching of the alphabet since tactile learners could touch the letters that fill its pages。 But since some of the cut-outs are in reverse order--"D," for instance, as it pops out of its original spot--some early readers would become confused and need guidance。 I love the creativity of display since the sturdy, cleverly-designed pages also feature animals and objects that start with a particular letter of the alphabet, and youngsters can also trace those with their fingers; for instance, a kite high in the sky accompanies the letter "K。" Each page has something interesting to note, ranging from A to Z with fascinating examples all the way through。 The letter "Z" is visually stunning and eye-popping with all those stripes of different hues。 The book and its examples will make youngsters think about what they are discovering about letters。 Where, oh, where were books like this one when I was a little one? 。。。more

A handsome book, cleverly designed。 But not one that one would want to use to introduce children to the alphabet (and think they would learn it--several problematic pages from a learning standpoint)。
